Mission:

Textile waste is a problem we face globally and it can be reduced by shopping more consciously including buying pre-owned and vintage, selling or donating unwanted items as well as supporting new brands that produce higher quality clothing and accessories using more sustainable, cleaner materials and manufacturing processes.

I started Supply 31 because I have loved clothing and fashion since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in Vermont and had limited access to the fashion world so I spent hours flipping through fashion magazines and catalogs. When it came to my own style, I used my strong creative skills to make the most of wardrobe on a limited budget. My love of fashion has followed me through my adulthood but my perspective and awareness changed. After spending years at a popular clothing retailer, I became concerned and disenchanted with what I was seeing on a daily basis; mediocre quality sold at premium prices and made in multiple foreign countries under questionable manufacturing practices. I was also inspired by brands like Imogene and Willie, Emerson Fry and Mate the Label who are making their clothing in the United States using conscious and sustainable methods. I used this inspiration to start a unique collection of vintage clothing and accessories for everyone.
