OTHER INFORMATION:
There was a time in history where dimes were actually made of real silver. Dimes made before 1965 were made of 90% silver and were often called "junk silver." The dimes featured in this listing are called a Mercury dimes because the figure looks like the Roman God, Mercury but is actually Lady Liberty wearing a winged cap. These "Mercury" dimes were minted between 1916 and 1945 and have the perfect amount of patina and wear.
